ABOUT CONRAD BODDEN
In 1993, Conrad received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering before graduating from law school in 1996. He earned both his degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, before returning to practice in his hometown of Brownsville, Texas. Since 1996, Conrad has handled thousands of cases throughout Texas and in various other states, but his practice has primarily focused on representing individuals and companies in Cameron County.
Conrad was born & raised in Brownsville, and graduated from Hanna High School. He is proud of his Rio Grande Valley upbringing and would not live anywhere else. While growing up in Brownsville, Conrad worked on his father's shrimp boats in Port Isabel and also as a handyman's assistant with his grandfather in Chiapas, Mexico. He moved to Austin, only to study, knowing that he would come home to represent folks from the Rio Grande Valley.
During his college years with his aerospace engineering degree, Conrad was privileged to work in NASA's astronaut training division during the Space Shuttle program and became a certified instructor in one of the shuttle's propulsion systems. While in law school, Conrad was a member of the Chicano Law Students Association and was the Editor-In-Chief for the Hispanic Law Journal.
Upon returning to Brownsville in 1996, Conrad became active in political and civic organizations including Amigos Artistas, Hooked on Life-Kids Gone Fishing, Brownsville Museum of Fine Arts, Leadership Brownsville, and he also served as a Precinct Chair for the Cameron County Democratic Party. Conrad has most recently served on the Cameron County SpacePort Development Corporation, an appointment made by the Cameron County Judge and County Commissioner's Court and also was appointed to serve on the State's Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee by Governor Greg Abbott.
Between 2004 through 2022, Conrad was a founding and managing partner of Trevino & Bodden and a partner of Cowen & Bodden, where Conrad devoted the majority of his legal practice representing injured individuals. Conrad has also been outside general counsel for a large insurance company and has served as counsel for the Brownsville Public Utilities Board. Today, Conrad's legal practice focuses on select cases representing good folks who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others. Conrad chooses his cases and clients, just like his clients choose him. There is no case too complicated or too big that Conrad cannot handle. Conrad is honest & direct in his advice and aggressive in his litigation. When you need to be protected, Conrad is who you want in your corner.
